The Third Grade Learning Spot has been learning about double digit multiplication in a variety of ways. First, we learned how to "Multiply like a Superhero" and use the "Turtlehead Method" to remember the order of steps to multiply double digit numbers...

We then practiced solving double digit multiplication problems using a variety of manipulatives and games such as completing  a multiplication mitten match...
