The cumulation of our poetry unit was having a poetry publishing party. Our principal, Mrs. Hoberman, stopped by to listen to each student recite his/her color sensory poem. The students explained how they brainstormed using a bubble map to generate ideas for their rough drafts and how editing and revising led to their final drafts.
