Visiting Rutgers Gardens gave us the chance to demonstrate our new knowledge of plants after completing a plant unit in science while enjoying nature. Here's some snapshots of our trip...
identifying pear, dogwood, and magnolia trees...
walking through a bamboo garden...
meeting other kids...
learning how a water garden works...
observing blooming blossoms...
picking petals falling from "Larry" the tree...
looking for frogs in a water garden...
looking for more in a pond...
racing through a field of evergreens...
and planting seedlings to take home...
What a wonderful trip! Thanks for sharing the photos :)
