2020 Space Fair

We had an out of this world time attending the school Space Fair! Space themed music played as we entered the gym, which was transformed into our solar system. Sparkling stars, planets, and spacecraft hung from the ceiling and decorated the walls. We were met by a lifesize astronaut who we took a class photo with.

Next, students explored the displays, writing facts learned in space passports. The exhibits included  moon reports and models of it's phases; reports and models about the sun and planets; astronaut biographies; constellation trifolds, Discovery, Gemini, and Mercury spacecraft reports and models; and inventions that began with NASA technology such as insulin pumps, TEMPUR foam, and 3D food printing. Upon completing their passports students received space themed prizes.
